Biography
DJ Jordan has been in the music scene since 1989 when he started DJing at local raves, warehouse parties and beach parties in his home town of Folkestone in kent. He soon got a name for himself and in 1992 was asked to warm up for none other than LTJ Bukem at night at The leas Cliff Hall on Folkestone seafront.
He went onto promote and DJ at numerous events within the country ranging from Folkestone - Leeds. The main events he is known for are Pure Science in Maidstone, Heat, One Nation, Meltdown, Warm Jungle Breeze, Jungle Flava and resident for Devious/South Coast Weekenders throughout the southeast and for many years had the pleasure of the one and only Fatman D as his MC (BIGUP Fatman, looking forward to our next set) and the memorable night of DJing with MC Fearless over his set.
Over the years Jordan has handed over the ones and twos to the biggest DJ's on the circuit including, Andy C, Ron, Ray Keith & Nicky Blackmarket (Thanks for the promos), Kenny Ken (Thanks for your Dubs), DJ SS, Hype, Grooverider to name but a few, and even played at the 'residents night' at Pure Science with the mighty Friction alongside MC 5ive-O!!!
Jordan primarily plays on the Old School vibe now, with 1000's of records to his collection will play the biggest and best known anthems from the classic era of the 90's!
His inspiration to the Jungle / Drum n Bass scene came from A.W.O.L. in 92 when we went to the Paradise Club and watched the masters at work, Hype, Randall, kenny Ken, Dr S Gaschet and Darren J, and his folder of flyers is a great read.
With his dedication to keeping the crowd jumping, mixing skills and his collection of the biggest and best known tunes of all time in the Jungle scene, Jordan be ripping up the dancefloor.
