Biography
Tripz is an up and coming jungle drum and bass mc with a varied style which includes deep meaningful lyrics to party lyrics. Tripz has the ability to tear dances up with double time flavas but can also host sets for connoisseurs out there who like to listen to a set without the mc taking over too much. Tripz is a true junglist and has been into jungle dnb since his early teens. Listening to old helta skelta rush hour tapes with legends such as randall hype MCMC and princey inspired him to become an mc and take up the art of crowd interaction.
Tripz began writing lyrics in the bedroom reciting lyrics and verses to friends who were impressed and encouraged him to take it that next level up and start doing gigs. Tripz's first real taste of mcing was at parties and gigs at youth clubs which gave him little taste of what performing to an audience was like and only 1 year into mcing Tripz was managing to do up and coming gigs at legendary venues like the stratford Rex and mcing abroad in clubbers hot spot Kavos. This gave Tripz the chance to get his name about and build up the confidence to take it to the next level.
Tripz has managed to play at every major venue in the south east and also various venues in london the dnb capital. Tripz has played at major nights including the award winning innovation main room and also One Nation and major festivals such as East fest which hosts thousands of ravers.
Tripz is a resident at the famous function rooms in Eastbourne for a promotion called X faders which is a monthly event. Tripz has worked with and performed with pretty much anyone who is anyone in the scene such as Zinc, Sub Focus, Shy FX, Blackmarket, Heist IC3 and many many more.
Tripz enthusiasm to mc is second to none and is a professional crowd hyper which is what he does best. Always a good artist to book because of the consistency and professionalism he brings to a dance.
